These are readily available from most well-known high street outlets its ready prepared to cook in the oven but what about using these on the barbecue, so here what you do…
- Make sure the chicken has reached room temperature before cooking don’t just pull it straight from the fridge.
- Use our great Premium Lumpwood charcoal you will need around 2kg or a full large chimney.
- Set the charcoal on either side (indirect heat) once it’s fully lit and going grey with ash and any flames have died away fully, wait until the BBQ temp reaches around 180*C.
- Place the tray the chicken comes with on the cooking grate in the middle over away from the direct heat of the coals.
- After 30mins baste the chicken using the juices in the tray.
- Then just keep an eye on the internal temp, & wait another 30 mins or when the internal meat temp gets to over 75*C then you can remove from the BBQ , cover with foil & rest for 10mins before carving.
- Its as easy as that – Enjoy
